For Shirley is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Howard of Broken Bow and Opal Janell Brewer Allen of Hugo, Oklahoma.; and her daughter Misty Blackwell of Holly Creek. She is survived by: her daughter Shannon Barrick; her son-in-law Matthew Shomo of Broken Bow; her sons, Martin (Crystal Barrick) of Broken Bow, Randy Barrick of Holly Creek and David Barrick of Eagletown; her sister Barbara Hogan of Nampa, Idaho; and her close friends, Marcial Salcido of Holly Creek and Mary Cogburn of Wright City. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bowser Family Funeral Home Chapel (500 N Park Dr, Broken Bow, OK 74728). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
