With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary K Prater of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary K left this world on October 31, 2024 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dona Cooke and Bill Cooke; her brother Donnie Cooke; and her grandchildren, Auston Melton and Rowan Ross.

She is survived by: her daughter Kimberley Ross of Idabel; her siblings, William Cooke (Dorinda) of Tennessee, Sarah Bamburg (Ray) of Broken Bow, Lee Barbo (Keith) of Ohio and Dee Brazil of Louisiana; her grandchildren, Kayla Tucker (Jake), Sabrina Melton (Cody Vickers) and Ryan Ross; and her great grandchildren, Talon Tucker and Lyric Tucker. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bunch - Singleton Funeral Home Chapel (205 N Broadway St, Broken Bow, OK 74728).

“I'm sorry for your loss. I worked with Mary & often think about that time. In the book of Revelation chapter 21 verses 3 & 4, God promises a time "when death will be no more, neither mourning, nor outcry nor pain will be anymore. The former things have passed away." Mary will have the hope of seeing this promise fulfilled here on earth. She'll be resurrected without the health problems she suffered. Jesus Christ promised that he resurrected our loved ones to Paradise (Luke chap 23 verse 43).”
