With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucy Woolsey (Broken Bow, Oklahoma), who passed away on January 29, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Lucy had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Lucy may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kendrick and Irene Lone (Peevey); her daughter Theresa Swift; and her granddaughter Maranda McNew. She is survived by: her children, Thomas (Lanette Whitt) and Tibbie Fletcher (Jessie Lyons). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bunch - Singleton Funeral Home Chapel (205 N Broadway St, Broken Bow, OK 74728).
