We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Kermit Denton Jr. of Broken Bow, Oklahoma. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughters, Lisa Sullivan and Lyla Denton; and his brothers, Gerald "Jay" Cody Denton and Gary Denton. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lynn Denton (Taylor); his children, Kermit Andrew Denton III (Tanya) and Leslye Denton Garcia (Angel); and his grandchildren, Casey, Kyle, Cheyenna, Veronica, Vivian, Vince, Victoria and Perseus. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
In May 2024, he was inducted into the Oklahoma Blues Hall of Fame for his contribution to the industry as a community builder.
