He is survived by: his spouse Laverne Deramus; his grandson Christian "Possum" Grinolds; his daughter JoAnn René Genera-Mootz (Frederick) of Maryland; his grandsons, Jason Polzin of Seattle, Washington and Nicholas Polzin of Kansas City, Missouri; his son Jesse W. Genera of California; his friend Berlin Heck; and his pets, Sophie and Emma. He is also survived by extended family, including brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends.
