He was predeceased by: his parents, Rilda Prater and Andy Prater; his wife Willa; and his brothers, Gary Tomek and Leon McCain.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda McCain of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Sharon Tomek of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Peggy of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Chris Wood of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Mandy, George Avery of Chesapeake, Virginia, Royce McCain of Broken Bow, Clint, Ashley Wood of Durant, Justin and Amberly Wood of McAlester, Oklahoma; his great grandchildren, Christian Avery of Chesapeake and Asher Wood of McAlester, Oklahoma; his stepgreat-granddaughter Kinsley Odom of Durant, Oklahoma; and his stepgrandson Lonnie (Bridgette McCain).
