She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Randolph Crowell and Anna Elizabeth Brown Crowell; and her sisters, Ailean Harris, Betty Haughney, Jean Monday and Mary Mills.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Bates; her children, Suzanne Bates of Broken Bow, OK and Donnie Bates (Noma); and her granddaughter Jessica Bates of Littleton, CO. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
