He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sands and Eva Moore Sands; his daughter Juanita Louise Shaw; and his siblings, Rheuben Boles, Bill Boles, Jimmie Boles, George Boles, Maurice "Buddy" Boles, Estelle Bowman, Mamie Hataway, Katie Cawrse and Sue Copeland.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Shaw (Bob Lewis) of Dallas, Texas and Sherri; his son-in-law Greg Marrs of Paris, Texas; his grandchildren, Staci Marrs of Ardmore, Michael Marrs of Ardmore and Colin Shaw of Los Angles, California; and his niece Shannon Boles of Hochatown, Oklahoma. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
