He is survived by: his mother Mary Darby (Vaughan); his wife Jan Kirkland; his children, Samuel Darby and Hannah Darby; his grandchildren, Carson, Sadie and Sophia Darby; his siblings, Chris (Wendy Darby) and Charlynn (Joe Acklen); and his nieces and nephews, Jessica, Hailey, Joel and Chris Jr..
A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Broken Bow Cemetery E. Memorial.
