She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Burris and Jonnie B. Burris (Richards); her sibling Jesse B. Lewis; and her stepson Rickey R. Young Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Jonathan L. Cubit of Zachary, M. K and Samuel X. Young of Broken Bow, Oklahoma.; her sister Linda F. Smith of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; and her daughter Megan Smith.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church (105 Washington St, Broken Bow, OK 74728).
