He is survived by: his wife Maxine Byrd; his son Bobby Lee Byrd; and his stepdaughters, Jackie Henson and Carolyn Lee. He is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and many friends.
