He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Gracie Billy, John and Mulsey McKinney; and his great grandchild Kynzlie Wells. He is survived by: his parents, John McKinney, Jr. and Julia Mae McKinney (Billy) of Broken Bow; his daughters, Latrisha Butler (Tonnie) of Broken Bow, Amber McKinney (D. J.) of Broken Bow and Dena McKinney (LaDarian Wooten) of Broken Bow; his siblings, Lyndon Karl McKinney (Janis) of Watson, OK, Rev. Ronald McKinney (Danelle) of Lawrence, KS, Sandra Frazier (Willard) of Broken Bow, Carla Sanders of Broken Bow and Marissa Baker (Patrick) of Broken Bow; his grandchildren, Monica McKinney of Britton McKinney, T. J, C. J. Whitfield, Tamia Butler, Jakyran Whitfield and A'mya Whitfield; his great grandchild King Wells; his close friend Willis Wesley; and his cousin April Billy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
