He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Henry McDowell and Dolly L. McDowell (Gephart); and his sister Thelma McKinley. He is survived by: his sons, Neil McDowell (Susan) of Broken Arrow, OK and Larry McDowell of Broken Arrow, OK; his grandchildren, Melissa Callaway (Matthew), Morgan McDowell, Mike Marquart, Jennifer McDowell and David McDowell (Anna); and his sister Jean Beebe. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Moore's Eastlawn Chapel (1908 S Memorial Dr, Tulsa, OK 74112). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Floral Haven Cemetery (6500 S 129th E Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012).
