It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Val Wayne McDannel of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, born in Las Vegas, Nevada, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth Holmes and Val Robert McDannel; his stepfather Kenneth Tackett; and his sisters, Lori Farrell and Barbara Sutherland.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia McDannel of Broken Arrow, OK; his daughters, Taylor McLaughlin (Daniel) of Norman, OK and Tara Leasure (Joel) of Broken Arrow, OK; his grandchildren, Aiden, Maicy and Liam; his stepmother Anne McDannel of Rio Rancho, NM; his siblings, Audie Hankins, Kenneth Allen Tackett, Dawn Allen (Randy), Susan Saunier and Andrew Sutherland (Grace); and his cousin Cheryl Joris (Chris). He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
