She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Guess and Helen Guess; and her sister Penny Marcum. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Ashmore; her son Nolen "Tony" Cleaves; her daughter-in-law Nichole; her grandchildren, Kayla Cleaves, Kierstyn Cleaves and Matt Cleaves; and her siblings, Nita Armour (Jimmy) and Bill "Dub" Guess (Susan).
