Obituary: Steve Newton Johnson
Steve Newton Johnson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 84 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He was born on May 10, 1939, and was known for his sharp wit, love for joking around, and making people laugh. Steve had a deep passion for Geology and admired all of God's creation.
Steve was a devoted family man and a beloved Letter Carrier. His dedication to his work and his caring nature made him a respected member of the community.
In his spare time, Steve enjoyed rock hounding, treasure hunting through yard sales, reading, and learning. He had a thirst for knowledge and an adventurous spirit that fueled his hobbies.
Steve will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his daughter Cryselda Hans, granddaughter Tiana Hans, grandson Toby Leone, grandson Lee Maikos, and great-granddaughter Chelsea Hill. He is survived by his loving family, who will cherish his memory.
A memorial service will be held in honor of Steve on January 6 at 2 PM at Calvary Phoenix, located at 12612 N Black Canyon Hwy, Phoenix, AZ 85029.
