With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Jean Mitchell of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, born in Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on October 4, 2020 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Jean Mitchell to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Doyle and Gayle Doyle; her daughter Pam Sanders; her stepfather Pete Salas; and her brother Larry Doyle.

She is survived by: her husband Ron Mitchell; her children, Kim Ford and Jeff Mitchell of Broken Arrow; and her grandchildren, Kendra (John McConnell), Hollie Jones, Allison (Jaime Kirby), Michael Wilson and Caitlyn (Dustin Kidd).

Donations may be made in her honor to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
