It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shawn Elizabeth Hurlbut (Broken Arrow, Oklahoma), born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 18, 2024, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Wesley Cook; and her nephew Brett Wade Cook. She is survived by: her husband Ron Hurlbut; her mother Eilene Cook; her children, Brendan Wright (Timothy), Brittany Broad, Jennifer Broad, Derek Broad, Shawn Watkins (Kayla Watkins), Dakota Swinferd (Marley Swinferd) and Garrett Cook; her stepchildren, Elaine Hurlbut and Hayley Hurlbut; her brother David Cook (Tracia Cook); her grandchildren, Kaidence, Braylea Watkins, Zach, Zoe Wright, Hayden, Christopher and Simeon Hurlbut; her nephew Kyle Cook; her aunt Vickie Cook; and her uncle John Cook. She is also survived by several other aunts, uncles, cousins.
