He was predeceased by: his great-grandparent Daisy Walker; his grandmother Mother (Myrtle Haynes); his mother Rosella DeBose; his sister Carolyn Sue Skinner; and his in-laws, Bob and Marvel Ruggles.
He is survived by: his significant other Debbie Ruggles of Fort Worth; his children, Valentina McDade (Winifred), Shawn DeBose of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dr. Lauren DeBose of Hurst, Texas and Jordan DeBose of Chicago, Illinois; his grandchildren, Tailyr, Trinity, Zion DeBose, Makayla McDade of Tulsa and Shawn DeBose Jr. (Maddie) of Bartlesville; his siblings, Dorothy Ann DeBose, John Cole DeBose, Donald Ray DeBose, David Wayne DeBose (Kim), Monica Lynn Whiteside (Rodrick), Latricia Renee DeBose of Tulsa and Annetta May DeBose of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and also Princeton DeBose of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
