He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Carter and Thelma Carter; his wife Betty Carter; his daughter Rita Dodson of Broken Arrow; and his great grandchild Brinklee.
He is survived by: his sister Margaret of Wagoner; his children, Robert Todd Carter (Sandra), Isabella Catherine, Reagan Emma of Rogers, AR., Calee Kober (Scott Kober), Paige Michele, Carter Thomas of Valley Falls, KS., Randy Carter (Beverly), Tessica Carter of Tulsa, Chad Carter (Ann) and Brian Carter; his grandson Gage; his son Broken Arrow; his son-in-law Kelvin Dodson; his grandchildren, Tami Deffenbaugh, Scott Dodson (Lisa), Ryan Dodson and Broken Arrow; and his brother Ed Carter (Ginny) of Bradenton, FL.. He is also survived by his sons, son in law and family.
