She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Smith and Florene Ragsdale (Ragsdale); and her husband James T. Brewer. She is survived by: her children, Mark Brewer, Scott Brewer and Shanan Brewer-Owen; her daughter-in-law Brenda Brewer; her grandchildren, Kasey Brewer (Henry), Meghan Barton (Terry), Andy Brewer (Bailee), Geoffrey Brewer (Catherine), Tyler Owen, Taussen Brewer, Bryson Owen and Kennedy Owen; her great grandchildren, Kailee, Rylee, Nolan and Cecilia; and her brothers, Ken Ragsdale (Toni) and Jim Ragsdale (Tonya).
