She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Pearson and Daphne Pearson (Johnson); her grandmother Ann; and her brother Jimmy Pearson. She is survived by: her husband L. Harlan Gafkjen; her daughters, Valerie Coleman, Vicki White (James), Christine Schulte (Karl), Michelle Sternberg (David) and Natalie Fyles (Luke); her grandchildren, Miranda, Jennifer, Michael, Matthew, Rachel, Brennan, Anthony, Stephanie and Ella; her great grandchild Rayna; and her siblings, Ronald Pearson (Cindy), Linda Johnson and Mark Pearson (Luann).
