She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred E. Hooper and Elvie Marie Hooper (Douglas); her son Allen Lee Thornburg, Jr.; and her siblings, Charles Hooper, Archie Hooper, Wanda Christian and Esther Burgess.

She is survived by: her husband Allen Thornburg; and her children, Brenda Gale Baker of Arkansas, Jerry Duane Thornburg (Debbie) of Broken Arrow, Loretta Denise Gensert of Broken Arrow and Scott Allen Thornburg of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
