She was predeceased by: her parents, Ukie Tyler and Roy Tyler; her husband Howard Hewitt; and her brothers, R. B. and Alvie Tyler.
She is survived by: her siblings, Alma Fisher (James) and Stanley Tyler; and her children, Terry Hewitt, Cyndi Hewitt, Jennifer Holden (Michael) and Angie Longmire. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
