He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gilcrease and Jean Gilcrease (Lackey); and his siblings, Dottie Gilcrease, Danny Gilcrease, Clark Lackey and Carol Taylor.

He is survived by: his wife Debbie McReynolds-Gilcrease; his children, William Gilcrease and Sarah Gilcrease; his mother-in-law Bobbie McReynolds; his siblings, Bill Gilcrease, Kay MacDonald and Joe Gilcrease; and his pet Gracie.
