She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Keith Scott and Olive Louise Banks; her siblings, Faye Wyatt and Ronnie Scott; and her grandson Curtis Barton McCoy.
She is survived by: her children, Natalie Jo McCoy (Tim McCoy), Sherry Darlene Patterson (Mike Patterson) and David Scott Gunter; her grandchildren, Michelle Capps, Justin Gunter, Mark McCoy, Amber Wells, Logan Patterson and Preston Patterson; her great grandchildren, Allie Edwards, Camryn Whitledge, Brytan LaNasa, Javin Hollander and Callan Capps; and her husband Dr. Richard J. Wells.
