It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of LaVerne M. Shepherd of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron McLeod and Agnes McLeod; her son Steven Shepherd (Heather); her sister Mary Ellen; and her son-in-law Gary Tucker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Tucker-Ramage (Ron) and Ellen Zimmerman (Don); her grandchildren, Rod Tucker (Brandi), Candice Fults (Thomas), Courtney Jolly (Drue), Kylee Cantrell (Toby) and Grady Hanifin; and her brother Bobby McLeod (Cheryl). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
