She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Paul Fischer and Mary Ann Groja Fischer; her husband Richard Lawhorn Sr.; her son Richard Lawhorn, Jr.; and her granddaughter Sarah.
She is survived by: her children, Felicia Snell (Marc) of Greenwood, James Lawhorn (Kelly) of San Jacinto, Lynne Westaway (Paul) of Franklin, Mary Scherer (Bill) of Hopkinton, Kathy Hadley of Attleboro and Tim Lawhorn (Laura) of Port Charlotte; her daughter-in-law Carolyn Barkei-Lawhorn of Newnan, Georgia; her siblings, Richard Fischer (Judy) of Louisville, Joanne Fischer-Smith (Paul) of Santa Fe and Virginia Pierce of Louisville, Kentucky; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth, David, Dennis, Erik, Karl, Ingrid, Gretchen, Yvette, Brigitte, Ashley, Ryan, McKenna, Kristin, Daniel, Patrick, Nichole, Chris and Alex. She is also survived by friends and extended family.
