He is survived by: his wife Elaine Francis Valentine; his children, John Cockrell (Jonna) of Broken Arrow, OK and Kerry Carment (David) of San Diego, CA; and his grandchildren, Jackson Cockrell of Broken Arrow, OK, Bryce Cockrell of Broken Arrow, OK, Alexandria Cockrell of Broken Arrow, OK and Sean Carment of San Diego, CA.
He enjoyed his work with the homeless at City Lights Foundation in Tulsa.
