James Luis Owens Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Luis Owens of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 3, 2025 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie James Owens and Rosie Elsie Owens; and his wife Jackie. He is survived by: his sisters, Scherlene Howeth, Jaleta Thomason and Donna Frazier; his children, Kathy Penn (Tony) of Broken Arrow, OK, Charlotte Freedman of Fort Worth, TX and James Luis Owens, Jr. (Pam) of Broken Arrow, OK; and his grandchildren, Carl, Kati Dearman, James Freedman, Angel Shellenberger, Jami, Vincent Mollica, Jyme, Stephen Smith, Clint, Suzie Owens, Katrina Baker, Tina, Dave Pierce and Michael Freedman.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (100 E Albany St, Broken Arrow, OK 74012).
