We are sad to announce that on November 13, 2023, at the age of 95, James Carl Birtell of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, born in Topeka, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Birtell and Elsie Birtell (Carter); his wife Beverly Browning; his brothers, Ted and Craig Birtell; and his son-in-law Roger Nation.
He is survived by: his children, Don Birtell (Susie) of Borger and Sandy Nation of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his brother Max Birtell of Iowa; his sister-in-law Pat Stocker of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Dawna Irving (Josh), Dayna Huffington (Mark), Aaron Birtell (Perla), Dustin Nation (Carolyn) and Miranda Conn (Michael). He is also survived by his 15 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
