With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irma Jean Sparks of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 7, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Johnson and Pauline Johnson (Cathey); her husband Howard; and her siblings, Nomah Lee Trachsel and Harold Dean "Curly" Johnson.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kristopher Chesterman (Christina), Michael Chesterman (Stephanie), Howard Sparks IV (James) and Kaitlyn Sparks (Katie); her great grandchildren, Ryder, Analyn, Aralei, Avaleigh and Kristian Chesterman; and her children, Sandra Jean Chesterman and Howard James Sparks III (Linda G. Sparks). She is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews.

Masks and social distancing will be adhered to through all services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Irma Sparks' honor to South BA Baptist or to the charity of the giver's choosing.
