He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Franklin and Ople Elsie Henthorne Winland; his son Michael Franklin Winland; his granddaughter Janice Christine Kiggans; his son-in-law Daniel Bryan Kiggans; and his siblings, Virgil Winland, Leonard Winland (Bud), Floyd Winland, Betty June Csuhta and Wanda Rush.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Allen Winland of La Grange, KY, Mitchell Eugene Winland (Pamela) of Broken Arrow, OK, Cassandra Pearl Earley (David) of New Matamoras, OH and Cindy Diane Kiggans of New Matamoras, OH; and his siblings, Frank Winland (Carol) of Graysville, OH, Wilda Groves of Massillon, OH and Nancy Craig of Woodsfield, OH. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.
