He was predeceased by: his parents, John Herman and Gladys Lee (Guyll); and his siblings, Marvin F. Griffin and Rosalee J. Helton. He is survived by: his wife Kay Ann Lawson; his children, Kelly (Kristi) of Midway, Kimberly of Broken Arrow and John of Broken Arrow; his sisters, Barbara Ann Wilson of Joplin and Lillie Ruth Shapp of Quapaw; and his sister-in-law Twylla M. Williams (Martin) of Joplin.
