He was predeceased by: his parents, Eulogia Mireles (Garcia) and Ernesto Mireles; his son Roberto Mireles; his son-in-law Kevin Messenger; and his siblings, Lupe Carmona, Anastacio Mireles, Jose Mireles, Juan Mireles, Rodolfo Mireles and Ricardo Mireles.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Mireles (Hernandez); his children, Mary Lou Messenger, Emilio Míreles (Robin), Gloria George (Desmond), Lisa Robinson (Alonzo), Raynaldo Míreles (Missy) and Ramón Mireles (Cherish); and his siblings, Mary Sandoval, David Mireles, Andres Mireles, Emma Ortiz and Ernesto Mireles. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
