He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Charlie" and Bonnie Crawford (Roy); his siblings, Skeeter, Corky and Charlotte; and his grandson Donnie Ray.

He is survived by: his wife Glenda Gale Thompson; his children, Robin Majors (David), Donnie Crawford (Jodie) and Kelly Kiska (John); and his niece Pam Winsworth (Randy). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and many more family and close friends.
