He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfathers, Doc, Cass and Heaven; his parents, Aubrey Castles and Hazel Castles (Ryan); his wife Diane Nordskog; his sons, Brian Castles (Cheryl), Eric Castles (Dee Anna Wilson), Neal Castles (Chrissy) of State College, PA and Jed Castles (Sharon) of Edmond, OK; his grandchildren, Benjamin Castles (Audrey), Titus of Melbourne, FL, Dr. Samuel Castles (Alyssa) of Anchorage, AK, Jonathan Castles, Jake Castles of State College, PA, David Castles of Bullard, TX, Joshua Castles, Megan Sittig (Ryan), Ciara Jacobs (Rob), Hannah Campbell (Josh) and Elyza; his sister Becky Gudgel (Tom) of Tulsa; and his brother-in-law John Nordskog of Two Harbors, MN.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Carpenter Class Mission Fund at FUMC.
