He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Bodner and Marienne Bodner. He is survived by: his pets, Chemo and Cynda; his wife Jeanne Bodner; his daughters, Elizabeth Townsend (Jason) and Natalie Thummel (Joe); his granddaughters, Layla Townsend, Sophia and Abigail Thummel; and his siblings, Martin Bodner and Sandra Maltzman (Scott). He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
