He is survived by: his wife Mary Jeanine Lyons; his children, Jay Edward Wheeler (Debra) and Kathryn Lynn Wheeler (Brandon McAdams); his grandchildren, Alexa, Zoe, Kyle and Clay; his great grandchild Renae Reese; and his sister Mary Louise "Mary Lou" Henry.
