It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clifford Leon Hewitt of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 26, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Leon and Oda Lavelle Hewitt (Foster); his children, Francis Burt and George Flud; his brothers, Stanley Lee Hewitt and Fred Hervill Hewitt; and his grandson Thomas Pleasant.

He is survived by: his wife Louise Hewitt of Broken Arrow, OK; and his daughter Peggy Cecil (Leonard Schumaker) of Broken Arrow, OK. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
