We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2023, at the age of 70, Christie Kay Blanton of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, born in Waukegan, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Girdley and Maxine Girdley (Tennyson). She is survived by: her children, Heather Johnson (Doug) of Bolingbrook, Illinois and Matt Blanton (Heather) of Coweta, Oklahoma; her grandsons, Brandon Johnson, Matthew Blanton and Michael Blanton; and her pets, Annie and Oliver. She is also survived by her family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army of the Waukegan Public Library.
