She was predeceased by: her parents, Melton Lee Ellis and Naoma Elizabeth Ellis (Bruce); her sister Donna Phillips; her grandson Gage Friend; and her pet Misty.
She is survived by: her husband Barry Wayne Newberry; her sons, Clayton Lee Jackson (Jamie), Jeffery Wayne Friend and Cody Eugene Friend (Julia); her grandchildren, Nikki Jackson, Brittney Shipley, Charlotte Davis, Dylan Jackson, Blair Friend, Damien Friend, Austyn Friend, Willow Friend, Lillyanna Friend and Lincoln Friend; and her siblings, Leota Faye Coleman (Leo), Donnie Lee Ellis and David Wayne Ellis. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel (210 S Broadway, Coweta, OK 74429).
