He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Johnson and Opal Johnson (Richards); his wife Mary Louise Johnson; his brothers, J. C. Johnson and Wallace Johnson; his stepdaughter Sharon Waddle; and his sisters, Peggy Hockman and Joyce Gilpin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Johnson and Betty Merry of Broken Arrow, OK; and his sister June Schilt. He is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
