He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregory Yar and Galina Yar (Kutner). He is survived by: his wife Olga Yar (Mukhina); his children, Alex Yar (Michelle) and Lidia Lawson (James); his sisters, Larissa Sergeeva and Ella Stepanova; his nephew Alex Yar; and his grandchildren, Aidan Lawson, Isabella Lawson, Elias Lawson and Xander Yar. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
