He was predeceased by: his father Jerry Dean Varner. He is survived by: his mother Helen Marie Johnston Varner of Bristow; his wife Melody Jamison; his children, Pokey Varner (Lisa) of Bristow and Skye McNiel of Bristow; his grandchildren, Paike McNiel of Bristow, Sophie Varner of Bristow, Sadie Varner of Bristow, Jamison McNiel of Bristow and Sami Steele McNiel of Bristow; and his brothers, John Varner (Jeani) of Bristow and Jeff Varner (Cheryl) of Bristow. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, plus many nieces, nephews, friends.
