He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Smith and Gladys Smith; and his siblings, Harold Smith, Dorothy Blaylock, Betty Smith and Patsy Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Smith; his children, Keith Smith (Brenda), Lori Bosworth (Marcellus), Lynn Hopkins (Shawn) and Daniel Smith (Sherrie); his sister Helen Smith; his grandchildren, Aaron, Lonnie Smith, Cameron, Camille, Ciara Smith, Reagan Hopkins, Nathan Weaver, Riley and Colton Walker; and his great grandchildren, Alley and Asher Smith.
