He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Stephens and Lillie Stephens; his wife Berneice Stephens; his children, Versadell of Washington, Edwina of Washington and Bobby of Washington; and his siblings, Lilly Rowland, Ann Sanders, Alice Carroll, Marjorie Wright and Robert Stephens.
He is survived by: his children, Rickey Stephens (Lucille), Michael (Missi) of Washington, Bronze Harrison and Beatrice Harrison; his stepsons, Ronald of Washington, Godfrey Jr. of Washington and Edward of Washington; and his sisters, Henrietta McIntosh and Doris Jimmerson. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
