He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Laskey Sr. and Lougenia Laskey (Tillman); and his brothers, Melvin Laskey, John Benny Laskey, Curtis Laskey, Leo Laskey and Clarence Laskey.
He is survived by: his son Kerr Jr. (Ashley) of Depew, Oklahoma; his stepchildren, Denesha of Kansas and Andre of Depew, Oklahoma; his siblings, Cardell (Anne) of Tulsa, Sam Jr. of Spencer, Millard of Bristow, Earnest (Eleanor) of Choctaw, Delbert of Oklahoma City, Emma (Dessie) of Clearview and Mattie (Orlando) of Midwest City, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Lyric Laskey, Aiden Laskey, Dayzia Friday, Terrence Friday Jr. and Andre Morris Jr..
