He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Quinn Swiney and Wanda Norine Scott (Miller); his stepfather Lester Dale Scott; and his siblings, Dennis Finn and Cherry Morgan.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Cheryl Howard; his children, Amber Knisley (Clinton) of Charleston, Steven Swiney (Ashley) of Granbury, Missy Willis, Doug Swiney, Christina Willis and Michael Swiney; his grandchildren, McKayla Knisley and Aubrey Swiney; and his sister Socorro Hendry of Midland, Texas. He is also survived by brothers and sisters, other relatives, and a host of friends.
