With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harold Gene Schonfield of Bristow, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2024 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Schonfield and Eula Schonfield; his wife Linda; his brothers, Jerry and Bill; and his granddaughter Kayla Buff.
He is survived by: his children, Darrell Schonfield (Charlene), Vicky Hamilton and Michael Schonfield (Keli); his siblings-in-law, June Schonfield and Gerald Trout; his grandchildren, Angela Burgett (John), Kyle Schonfield (Jessica), Nathan Schonfield (Jennifer), Tiffany Little (Blake), Buddy Buff, Cody Hamilton, Lucy Schonfield, Lynzie Schonfield, JoAnn Schonfield and Cole Schonfield; his niece Sara Shamise (Jason); and his nephew Craig Hall. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hutchins-Maples Matherly Funeral Home (119 N Chestnut St, Bristow, OK 74010). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (221 E 7th Ave, Bristow, OK 74010).
